Deep down however Gracjan knew that he would always be a victim of his own success, as he longed to be like the great mountain goats, competing for the big wins in OCM's most prestigious tours. Gracjan realizing that he would never be like Andenberg, instead focused on perfecting his ability to conquer hills.
With his ability he soon joined nonnies to focus on the more hilly tours, where he could exploit his time trialing ability to gain the edge over his competitors. A wise decision, as he managed to finish in the top six of all three top tier hill tours of OCM, even bagging a podium in Cymru and a fith place in Essex in the same season. Gracjan was so motivated to achieve the final top six in Giro di Montelbano, that he joined BennysBadekar to do so.
Gracjan's biggest achievement however was his fourth place finish in an edition of Norway tour. Proving once and for all that he to could mix it with the greats in a longer stage race.
Gracjan, having completed all that he set out to achieve, left for Kazakhstan. Gracjan would still return to Europe for some time trialing, but decided to finally settle down in Almaty, simply stating that climbing to the top Kok-Tobe on a daily basis would be more than enough to satisfy his inner child.
